Dubai is getting the world's first Bugatti-inspired villas

Last week, United Arab Emirates–based DAMAC Properties announced plans to build the world’s first Bugatti-styled homes, in Dubai.

The limited-edition houses—a collection named Ettore 971 after the automaker’s founder, Ettore Bugatti, and the UAE’s international calling code—will feature an all-glass garage that, presumably, will house Bugattis for neighbors and guests to see.

Each villa will have seven bedrooms and feature floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the Tiger Woods–designed course at the city’s Trump World Golf Club.

According to DAMAC, the interiors will be styled to mimic the “sleek elegance of Bugatti’s Veyron series,” which holds the world record for the fastest road car (reaching a high speed of roughly 267 m.p.h.).

The residences will be part of Akoya Oxygen, a 55-million-square-foot development that will include, along with the golf course, a spa, a yoga center, an organic market, restaurants, and waterparks.

The starting price for an Ettore 971 villa is approximately $10 million. Sale dates have not been announced.

It quoted the man as saying:”It does not matter whether the new wife is attracted to my money as the most important thing is that she must appreciate marriage life and marital duties…I am even ready to accept a Misyar marriage and pay her $1 million at once…she will live with me in my villa and must accept all my conditions which I will reveal to her later.”

The magazine said the man was married before but that he divorced his wife “was greedy and wanted only money.”

“I made the wrong choice first time….I want to make the right choice now…my main obsession now is to marry…,” the man said.

Misyar is a marriage contract where couples can live separately but get together regularly, often for sexual relations.
