A Saudi husband divorced his wife after discovering she had a mobile phone, disobeying his instructions not to carry such a device.
The man and his wife were going into a hotel in the Southern Jazan province when they were subjected to searching in a scan machine for security.
"The machine showed that the woman had a mobile phone in her bag. When the husband saw it, he got mad and stormed out of the hotel,” 'Sada' daily said.

“His wife followed him and apologised, but he immediately divorced her after suspecting she was using the phone for something he does not know.”
